The “La Straordinaria Quotidianità del Legno” exhibition, that was held in the Palazzo della Regione in the Città Alta of Bergamo, where IMEX, together with other 40 local companies in the area, presented a new project, the Origami frame, has just come to an end.
The product is still under development and represents a good integration to the already wide range of products that IMEX proposes to its clients, positioning itself as box floater moulding or as containing element for wall decorations.
It’s a new production process for our company, that consists in working flat surfaces, in cutting them and folding them to form sections of frames or decorative elements of different types and sizes. This particular technique has been an inspiration for the name of the product. IMEX is therefore confirming its uninterrupted experimentation flow in the productive area and its continuous research for new technologies to be applied to the decoration industry.
The event also hosted the traveling exhibition “100×100 Achille“, to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the great Milanese architect and designer Achille Castiglioni. Both events aroused great interest and attracted a large number of visitors.
